Many buyers purchasing a brand new home do not realize the importance if a home inspection. Builders may cut corners or simply miss construction flaws. Since a warranty is usually issued, the home buyer assumes items will be corrected. However, an untrained eye will not catch the problems or the builder may not be responsive. Best to have a preclosing home inspection or at least one performed before your new home warranty expires.
